Tickets to the Northern California Pirate Festival:

 
Ticket Prices

One Day General Admission- $10 each (children 11 and under free, does not include admission to the Buccaneers Bash) On sale April 15, 2016 at 12am

 

Early Bird ticket sales begin on March 25th 2016 and end April 14th, 2016 at 11:59pm.

 

The Early bird Special allow 50% off the general admission for the price of one ticket. That means you can purchase tickets for $5 a piece plus eventbrite fees.

Buccaneers Bash!- $15 per person, no one under 18 admitted without parents present. 

Also available are bundle deals if you would like to join us for the entire weekend.

 

Children 11 and under are always FREE!

 

Bundles:

We invite you to save on admission for the entire weekend by utilizing a bundle pass.

 

A Weekend Pass include both days of the pirate festival for one person. You will recieve a non-transferrable wristband for your use in 2016.

Online Cost: $18 plus eventbrite fees

At the Gate: No eventbrite fee.

A Premium Pass includes a non transferrable wristband for both days and the after hours, 18 and older Buccaneers Bash!

Online Cost: $25

At the Gate: $30

All Online ticket sales will require payment of the eventbrite fees. There are no ticket fees if you purchase at the gate. We offer online sales as a convenience and to keep the lines at a minimum. Online Ticket sales end June 17th at 6pm. Ticket sales will resume onsite on June 18-19, 2016 beginning at 9 am.

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

You will not be required to show your ID at the gate for admission. It is advisable to have identification on you in case there is an issue that you would like us to resolve. The Northern California Pirate Festival is an all ages event, however the Buccaneers Bash is a bit more salty and so we do not admit anyone under 18 without a parent present.

 

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

The NCPF takes place along the waterfront in Vallejo California. The Ferry Terminal to and from San Francisco is located next door to the event. Please check Vallejo Ferry schedules before planning your trip.  

Vallejo has been upgrading the parking around the ferry terminal and there is a great deal of paid parking near the event site. If you fancy a walk and free parking you can find street parking around Vallejo if you get to the site early.

 

What is Parking like?

There is limited street parking available at no cost and city lot parking available for a daily fee. Go to the city parking information page for more information.

 

What can/can't I bring to the event?

This event is not pet friendly. The crowds are large and the guns are loud. The sun is also powerful and cars can heat up very quickly. Please leave your animals at home.

Is my ticket transferrable?

You may give away any unused ticket before the event but you may not transfer the ticket once it is in use (example: two day wristbands are only good for one person.) Plank Owner Club Passes and VIP Passes are non-transferrable.

 

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You may either print your ticket or download your ticket to your smart device. You must have a ticket in one of those formats in order to enter.

This year we will be working with satellite ticket offices in order to promote traffic to local non- profits. You will be given a ticket at the time of the transaction. Please bring it with you to the event. Satellite locations will be promoted on the website after the early bird sales are over. There are no replacements for lost tickets.

 

 

What is the refund policy?

The NCPF has a no refund policy. This event is rain or shine. You may upgrade a ticket that has not been used (example, you bought a weekend pass and would like to go to the Buccanners Bash. Pay the extra bit and we will upgrade your pass)

 

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

If your name does not match the name on the account that the ticket was purchased under you will not be able to address any issue should one arise. Only the person who bought the ticket can change anything on the account. However, anyone can enter with a valid ticket.

 

Plank Owner Club

Returning Plank Owners will recieve a renewal notice on March 18th. 2016. New Plank Owner Tickets go on sale April 15th 2016.

 

What is a plank owner?

A “plank owner” is an individual who was a member of the crew of a ship when that ship was placed in commission. Originally, this term applied only to crew members present at the ship’s first commissioning. The origin of the term is the implication that a crew member was around when the ship was being built and commissioned and therefore has bragging rights to the ownership of one of the deck planks in the main deck. The Plank Owners of the Northern California Pirate Festival get special privileges and perks that normal attendees do not!

 

Does the Plank Owner Membership include admission?

Yes. The plank owner membership comes with one premium pass for each member. Once you purchase your membership you will receive a code that will allow you a discount off a one day admissio for your crew. Your membership also allows you to bring a friend and two children into the VIP area with you.

 

I purchased a plank in a previous year but did not get a discount code. What should I do?

Your active membership will always be renewed at the price you originally paid for it. You must renew every year in order to keep your membership active. You are allowed a one year grace period to keep your membership active-however if you miss more than one year of renewals you will have to purchase a new membership at the current price. If you are an active member and you have not recieved a code, please email the plank master kathy@norcalpiratefestival.com

 

 What should I be paying for a Plank Membership?

Charter Members renew at $50. Charter members originally purchased thier Planks in 2007.

Foundation Members renew at $70 and became members during the years between 2008 and 2012. There was allso a Kickstater special in 2013 wherein some where able to renew at the foundation price.

 

If you have not gotten a renewal notice by March 18, 2016 please inform Kathy Kingman at kathy@norcalpiratefestival.com.

 

Alliance members are new members and 2013 and 2014 members who renew at the current rate of $95.

 

By March 27, 2015 all Charter and Foundation members should have recieved an email with thier personalized code to renew and buy discount tickets. Alliance members will need to renew thier membership in order to recieve a code for the discount day tickets.

There is no online discount for premium and weekend passes because the online discount is deeper than the plank discount for both passes. At the Gate you will receive your Plank Owner discount.

We regret to tell you: If you are ordering past the deadline of May 27th, 2016 you will recieve a Plank owner bag/tote instead of a t-shirt. We will also have a limited supply of the bags at the event but they are first come first served.
